Alison Seymour is Bear Clan with Ojibway and Mohawk ancestry. She is a fisherman and a simple woman. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University; and she is taking a break from education to do work with her home community of Akwesasne. She has experience working with Indigenous non-profit organizations and volunteering for many local initiatives that resonate with her. Alison keeps the family close.

In her free time, Alison loves hanging out with her boyfriend and seeing her neighbour’s cat Milo. She also volunteers frequently which helps her meet new people and make new memories.
