On Sunday June 8th, 2008, the Youth Coalition convened a Progressive Youth Caucus meeting to strategize for the United Nations High Level Meeting on HIV and AIDS that took place in New York City on June 10 – 11. Approximately 40 young people from around the world worked together develop a set of key messages directed at governments, the United Nations and other leaders to uphold their commitments to universal access to prevention, treatment, care and support of HIV and AIDS.
